The Brief
It was essential that the contractor had experience working with timber frame structures and concrete brick, ensuring all works were completed to a high standard while integrating with the overall build programme.
Work Carried Out
Our team completed the full masonry package across all 18 properties, with approximately 90% of the works consisting of brickwork and the remaining 10% made up of structural concrete blockwork.
The build involved constructing a series of residential units with a consistent, high-quality finish across all elevations, while accommodating a number of complex detailing requirements throughout the project.
Throughout the 12-month programme, we worked closely with other trades on site to ensure smooth coordination and steady progress across all phases of the development.

Challenges
Working in close proximity to a school, neighbouring houses and public areas required careful site management, with a strong focus on safety, organisation and minimising disruption.
In addition, the project involved the use of a difficult brick type, along with a number of complex detailing elements, requiring a high level of precision and consistent workmanship throughout.
Through careful planning, experience and strong on-site coordination, all challenges were effectively managed while maintaining quality and programme requirements.
